A later armor build based on patterns from Black Raven Armoury. Each piece is its own pattern, so mix and match is the idea. The style is Viking-ish, not a museum reconstruction, which is fine for costuming and LARP.
The breastplate is the Gunnar pattern. It pieced together well and left room for my own knotwork pattern.
I made the breastplate with traditional leatherworking: carving and stamping. After that I dyed it golden brown. Antiquing brought out the stamping and the edge work.
